General Accountant

General Accountant (SMEs – UAE Experience Required)

Location: UAE | Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a General Accountant with strong experience handling end-to-end accounting for small and medium-sized companies in the UAE. The role requires managing accounts from setup to ongoing operations, ensuring full compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain complete accounting records (GL, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

• Handle accounting from incorporation stage onward

• Manage VAT registration, returns, and FTA compliance

• Perform bank and account reconciliations

• Ensure compliance with IFRS / UAE accounting standards

Requirements

• 3+ years UAE accounting experience (SMEs)

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting compliance

• Experience with accounting software (Zoho, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar)

• Able to manage accounts independently from A to Z
