General Accountant

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a General Accountant. The General Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. Additional responsibilities include preparing tax filings, supporting audits, monitoring budgets, and providing financial insights to aid decision-making processes. Collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders will also be a key part of this role.

• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
• Experience in tax compliance, audit preparation, and financial analysis
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and advanced skills in Excel
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus
• Experience in the produce or FMCG industry is an advantage
• Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic is beneficial
