Our client is looking to hire a talented and dedicated General Accountant to join their growing team in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing daily financial operations, preparing accurate reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management with timely financial insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the food industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and principles (GAAP/IFRS).
- Practical experience in general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Proficient in preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Experience handling accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and payroll-related entries.
- Capable of completing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Skilled in tax filing and compliance, including VAT and corporate tax.
- Proficient in accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Tally, or similar ERP platforms.
- Advanced MS Excel capabilities (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
- Strong communication skills for effective reporting and coordination.
- With valid UAE Driving License is required
- Willing to work in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.
- Preferably available to join immediately or within a maximum of one month.
