Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated General Accountant for a full-time, on-site position located in Alexandria, Egypt. The General Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Daily tasks will include data entry, budget monitoring, preparing financial statements, and assisting with tax filings. The individual will work closely with the finance team to support overall financial operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and preparing financial reports.
- Familiarity with tax regulations, auditing processes, and compliance standards.
- Strong skills in data analysis, budget management, and reconciliation.
- Experience using accounting software, spreadsheets, and related digital tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in accounting or finance roles is preferred.
- Proficiency in English is an advantage.
