Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Ledger Accountant based in New Cairo. The General Ledger Accountant will handle day-to-day responsibilities, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining the general ledger. This role involves ensuring compliance with accounting standards, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and generating financial reports. The individual will also collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial record-keeping and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 35 years of experience in General Ledger accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in financial systems, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar).
• English level A2.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working across teams
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification or equivalent is a plus
• Experience in a similar role, preferably within a business group or corporate environment
