General Manager

Role Description The General Manager role is a part-time remote position responsible for overseeing the operational and administrative functions of the institution. The individual in this role will coordinate academic and support services, manage budgets and resources, and ensure that policies and procedures are implemented effectively. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring performance metrics, supporting strategic planning initiatives, collaborating with department heads, and addressing operational issues in a timely manner. The General Manager will also focus on improving processes, enhancing stakeholder communication, and supporting the college's mission and long-term goals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in general management or administration, preferably within education or a related sector.
• Strong skills in strategic planning, resource allocation, and process improvement.
• Proficiency in remote collaboration tools, basic office software, and digital communication platforms.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
• Experience in the Philippine higher education context or familiarity with academic operations is a plus.
