Role Overview

As the General Manager of Advanced Manufacturing and Production, you will be the driving force behind the modernization of the national industrial sector. You will lead the transition from traditional manufacturing to Industry 4.0, ensuring that national factories remain competitive, sustainable, and technologically advanced. You will bridge the gap between ministerial strategy and ground-level execution, fostering an ecosystem that supports investors, manufacturers, and technology providers.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Governance

Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of strategic and operational plans aligned with vision and the requirements of the advanced manufacturing sector.

Legislative Development: Shape the future of the industry by contributing to the design and update of regulations, policies, and laws related to industrial excellence.

Performance Excellence: Establish KPIs for all departmental activities, ensuring continuous improvement through data-driven reporting and performance monitoring.

Operational Oversight & Integration

Departmental Management: Oversee the administrative and technical workflows of subsidiary units to ensure seamless integration and resource optimization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with various departments and the Assistant Undersecretary to align outputs with national priorities.

Human Capital Development: Strategize workforce planning, including recruitment, specialized training, and performance management to build a world-class technical team.

Industrial Transformation & Innovation

Advanced Manufacturing Adoption: Design and oversee initiatives that incentivize traditional factories to adopt advanced manufacturing technologies.

Program Evaluation: Monitor national initiatives, assessing their economic impact on industrial facilities, investors, and technology providers.

Risk Management: Develop tools and products to mitigate the risks associated with adopting new technologies, backed by feasibility studies and stakeholder workshops.

Market Intelligence & Advocacy

Global Benchmarking: Stay ahead of global trends in industrial excellence and emerging technologies, providing analytical reports and recommendations to stakeholders.

Strategic Representation: Represent the Ministry in high-level international forums, committees, and workshops to promote national industrial goals.

Awareness & Culture: Lead specialized awareness campaigns to foster a culture of advanced manufacturing and industrial excellence within the private sector.

Qualifications & Skills

Visionary Leadership: Proven ability to manage large-scale industrial portfolios and lead multidisciplinary teams.
