General Manager Radisson Beach Resort Palm Jumeirah, Dubai
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall management and operation of the Radisson Beach Resort Palm Jumeirah, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining profitability and achieving business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to deliver high standards of service in line with the brand's values.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Management:
Oversee all aspects of the resort`s daily operations, including front office,
housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, sales and marketing, and
departments.
Ensure a guest & employee-centric culture by fostering an environment where guest
satisfaction is the highest priority.
Build and develop a high-performing team through recruitment, training,
performance management, and career development.
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
Financial Management:
Monitor and analyse financial performance to ensure profitability and cost efficiency.
Maximise revenue opportunities through effective pricing strategies, yield
management, and partnerships.
Implement strategies to control costs while maintaining high service standards.
Guest Sasfacon and Brand Standards:
Ensure compliance with Radisson brand standards and elevate the guest experience
through continuous improvements.
Actively engage with guests and address feedback to improve overall satisfaction
scores and online reputation.
Drive guest loyalty through personalised service and recognition programs.
Sales & Marketing:
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for increasing
market share, growing occupancy, and driving revenue across all segments (business,
leisure, group, etc.).
Act as an ambassador for the property and brand, networking within the local
community and with key business partners.
Operational Efficiency:
Ensure smooth coordination between all departments for an efficient operational
workflow.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, local regulations, and
environmental sustainability initiatives.
Identify areas for operational improvements and implement processes to enhance
productivity.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure it meets the highest standards
of cleanliness, maintenance, and aesthetic appeal.
Implement and monitor service standards to maintain consistency and quality across
all departments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field (or equivalent
experience).
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive hotel management experience, with at least 5 years in
a leadership role at a lifestyle or a luxury hotel brand in the UAE.
Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations, improving guest satisfaction,
and driving financial performance.
Strong understanding of financial statements, revenue management, and budgeting.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
