About the Role
Future Pipe Industries is looking for a seasoned General Manager to lead project management across its GeoMarket operations. In this role, you will plan and develop project ideas from inception to delivery, ensuring objectives are met on time, within budget, and to specification. You will set goals aligned with organizational strategy, drive efficiency through motivation and coaching, and take ownership of delegation, process improvement, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Drive and motivate teams to meet project goals, foster a positive and high-performance culture, develop clear execution plans, eliminate bureaucracy, and guide teams toward successful outcomes.
- Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate tasks, goals, expectations, and company objectives. Apply constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement across the team.
- Time Management: Set appropriate deadlines and ensure they are met without exception. Prioritize tasks effectively and develop efficient strategies for completing all agenda items.
- Reliability: Be accessible and supportive to team members, creating an environment of confidence and security. Review budgets proactively and take appropriate action to prevent overruns.
- Decisiveness: Take ownership of critical decisions, including major choices on short notice, with clarity and confidence.
- Customer Satisfaction: Minimize uncertainties, avoid unwanted surprises, and keep customers informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience
- MBA, MSc in Engineering, or MeC in Business Economics
- Degree in Business Management or a Master's in Business Administration
- 15+ years of progressive experience in project management, with a track record of delivering complex, multi-site projects

- Strong problem-solving ability and a collaborative team player
