Job description-

• Operate and monitor gas engine generators to ensure stable and efficient power output
• Start, stop, synchronize, and load generators as per operational requirements
• Perform routine inspections and record operational parameters (temperature, pressure, load, fuel/gas consumption, etc.)
• Identify abnormalities, alarms, or faults and take corrective action as per SOPs
• Carry out basic preventive maintenance and assist maintenance teams during overhauls and repairs
• Maintain accurate logbooks, shift reports, and operational records
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company regulations
• Coordinate with control room, electrical, and mechanical teams for smooth plant operation
• Respond to emergency situations and follow shutdown/startup procedures
• 25 years of experience operating gas engine generators
• Knowledge of gas engines, alternators, control panels, and auxiliary systems
