Summary
We're seeking an experienced Global Communication Manager to lead KAYALI's global communication strategy across consumer and trade PR, corporate communications, founder profiling, thought leadership, partnerships, KAYALI Cares and brand storytelling.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, leading and executing results-driven communication initiatives that strengthen the profile of both Mona Kattan and KAYALI globally. This role will support both new and existing brand initiatives to drive awareness, build brand equity, reinforce KAYALI's positioning as a category-leading fragrance authority and further establish Mona Kattan as one of the most influential voices in beauty and fragrance.
You will lead strategic communications across product launches, founder moments, partnerships, KAYALI Cares initiatives, corporate milestones and proactive issues management. The role requires someone who can create compelling narratives, shape meaningful conversations and ensure every touchpoint feels consistent, culturally relevant and unmistakably KAYALI.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute KAYALI's global 360° communication strategy across earned, owned and shared channels
- Lead KAYALI's corporate communication strategy, driving key brand and business narratives across all consumers, corporate and leadership touchpoints
- Develop communication playbooks, frameworks and messaging toolkits for global and regional teams to ensure consistency across launches partnerships, crisis management and KAYALI Cares initiatives
- Position and elevate Mona Kattan as a global voice and cultural force, driving her celebrity profile through high-impact media moments, founder storytelling, thought leadership, keynote speaking opportunities, top-tier interviews, strategic partnerships, and culture-shaping opportunities that cement her influence across beauty, business, lifestyle and beyond
- Own CEO/Founder and leadership communications, including executive messaging, speaking opportunities, interviews, thought leadership, internal communications and high-profile appearances for Mona Kattan and senior leadership
- Build and strengthen the positioning of KAYALI as a leading global fragrance authority through integrated communication strategies and distinctive brand narratives
- Create and implement global communication plans for all product launches, collaborations, campaigns, retail moments, and key brand initiatives
- Develop compelling communication narratives and messaging frameworks for Mona Kattan, KAYALI, KAYALI Cares, partnerships, and corporate announcements
- Ensure consistent brand messaging, tone of voice and storytelling across all regions, channels, markets and stakeholders
- Own and manage all corporate communication initiatives, including company announcements, executive communications, internal communications, and business updates
- Lead and manage KAYALI Cares communication projects from concept to execution, ensuring every initiative is strategically planned, beautifully communicated and aligned with KAYALI's values
- Support and execute CSR initiatives under KAYALI Cares, ensuring strong governance, cross-functional alignment, partner management and meaningful, purpose-led storytelling
- Own the day-to-day management of KAYALI Cares projects, including timelines, stakeholders, budgets, approvals, NGO partnerships and communication plans
- Integrate purpose-led storytelling and brand values across all communication initiatives
- Identify and secure high-impact media, speaking, partnership and profile-building opportunities for Mona Kattan and KAYALI globally
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier media, editors, journalists, industry leaders, tastemakers, strategic partners and key stakeholders globally
- Partner closely with regional teams to localize communication strategies while ensuring global consistency and excellence
- Lead crisis communications and reputation management, including issues preparedness, escalation protocols, reactive statements and sensitive stakeholder communications
- Own sustainability and investor communications, including ESG and impact storytelling, sustainability reporting, investor updates and stakeholder-facing materials
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Marketing, Influencer & Community, Social, Product Development, Retail and Leadership teams to deliver fully integrated communication plans
- Work closely with the Influencer & Community team to maximize cultural relevance, creator partnerships and communication impact
- Lead the development of press materials including press releases, media alerts, founder Q&As, interview briefs, talking points, press kits, messaging documents, media training materials and corporate statements
- Manage all launch communication timelines and ensure the seamless delivery of communication assets across markets
- Monitor media coverage, social conversation and public sentiment to identify opportunities, risks and emerging issues
- Proactively develop crisis communication plans, reactive statements and issues management strategies in partnership with senior leadership
- Support in managing reputation and handling sensitive issues with timely, thoughtful and strategic responses
- Identify and cultivate meaningful partnerships and like-minded brands that enhance KAYALI's visibility, relevance and equity
- Track, analyze and report on communication performance, including media coverage, EMV, MIV, sentiment, share of voice, founder profiling, and overall brand impact
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to continuously strengthen communication effectiveness and business impact
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in integrated communications, PR and corporate communications, preferably within beauty, luxury or lifestyle industries
- Proven experience developing and executing global communication strategies
- Strong experience in founder profiling, executive visibility, thought leadership and brand storytelling
- Exceptional writing, storytelling and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of media relations, corporate communications, influencer landscape and cultural trends
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, global environment
- Strong project management, organizational and budgeting skills
- Experience working across multiple markets and regions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret communication performance metrics and translate them into actionable recommendations
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
