We are seeking an experienced PR Operations & Projects Lead to drive a strategic, integrated public relations approach across global markets for a high-profile destination marketing and economic development entity. The role focuses on strengthening international reputation, managing global PR operations, and ensuring alignment across markets through a centralized hub function.

Responsibilities
- Lead the global press office function, overseeing key messaging, press materials, and media content in collaboration with PR agency partners.
- Develop and implement standardized PR and communications frameworks across international markets, ensuring consistency in tone, positioning, and strategy.
- Manage and evaluate global content partnerships and media collaborations, ensuring brand integrity and strategic alignment.
- Plan and lead international media familiarization trips for journalists, broadcasters, and content creators.
- Oversee proactive and reactive media relations, including media inquiries, reputation management, and crisis communications.
- Define PR KPIs, track media performance, analyze coverage quality and reach, and drive data-led optimization.
- Review and evaluate PR agency proposals, supporting vendor selection and governance processes.
- Provide strategic direction to regional and global PR agencies, monitoring delivery, ROI, and effectiveness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Campaigns, Trade, Digital, and Business teams to deliver integrated 360 initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with hotels, attractions, event organizers, and private-sector partners to co-create globally relevant stories.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- 810 years of experience in international PR, brand communications, or integrated marketing roles.
- Prior experience in tourism, hospitality, lifestyle, destination marketing, or high-profile consumer brands is strongly preferred.
- Proven expertise in managing global and regional PR agencies and multi-market projects.
- Strong understanding of earned media, media partnerships, and global PR ecosystems.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong content review and editing ability.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, storytelling capability, and ability to translate organizational objectives into narratives.
- Strong stakeholder management, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-visibility, cross-functional environment.
