Job Overview:
A vacancy exists at the Golf Operations Department for the position of Golf Reservations Agent. The role involves managing golfer reservations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth operations in the reservations process. The Golf Reservations Agent will interact with members and guests, ensuring a positive experience from the moment of booking to check-out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professional Appearance: Maintain a neat, professional appearance in line with the company dress code, wearing the required uniform and name badge.
- Customer Interaction: Greet all members and guests politely, assisting with reservations, providing golf course information, and ensuring a seamless check-in process.
- Reservation Management: Efficiently manage golfer reservations, bookings, confirmations, cancellations, and email inquiries.
- Payment Processing: Accept payments via cash, credit card, or account charges for green fees, golf lessons, and additional services.
- Tee Time Management: Coordinate with the Starter/Marshal to ensure proper tee time management and resolve any issues related to bookings.
- Guest Information: Provide accurate information on tee times, course conditions, and golf services to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Golf Lessons & Tournaments: Assist in managing bookings for golf lessons, tournaments, and group bookings.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records for reservations, cancellations, and payments.
- Availability Monitoring: Continuously monitor the availability of tee times and proactively inform guests of any changes.
- Dress Code & Standards: Ensure guests are informed of the club's dress code and playing standards.
- Tournament Registration: Provide support for golf tournament registrations, including handling sign-ups and confirmations.
- Equipment Reservations: Assist with the coordination of golf cart rentals and equipment reservations.
- Service Excellence: Strive to achieve service excellence by maintaining high standards and positive guest interactions, aiming for outstanding performance in 59Club evaluations.
- SOP Adherence: Follow all SOPs implemented within the reservations department to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Team Support: Support the Golf Operations team during busy periods and assist with any special requests from members and guests.
- Reporting: Assist with reporting on reservations and guest activity as needed.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other duties assigned by management to support the Golf Course Operations.
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with members and guests.
- Previous experience in golf operations or a reservations-related role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage reservations and payments efficiently and accurately.
- Flexibility to work during peak periods and weekends.
