Job Description

Job Title: Governance and Reporting Manager, Operational and Resilience Risk

Division: Risk

Location: Riyadh

Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Sunday to Thursday)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepares the bi-monthly Operational and Resilience Risk Committee (ORRC) pack, coordinating submissions from stakeholders across the bank.
  • Prepares Risk Management Committee (RMC), Board Risk Committee (BRC), Board and Audit Committee (AUCOM) submissions to ensure appropriate visibility of operational risks, controls, issues, and events to drive senior management decision making.
  • Prepares the enterprise risk report submission to the Risk Management Committee (RMC), coordinating the submissions from various stakeholders and providing review and challenge.
  • Prepares the quarterly Internal Control System report to understand the level of effectiveness of the Bank's internal control system and areas for improvement.
  • Supports the annual updates to the Operational and Resilience Risk owned frameworks/policies and procedures.
  • Support delivery of the ORR plan for all governance related activities including any training and awareness.
  • Track and monitor the annual bank-wide policy submission's to the Risk Management Committee (RMC), Board Risk Committee (BRC) and Board. Review all policies prior to submission to ensure they are written in line with the Bank's guidelines for writing policies.
  • Monitors Key Risk Indicators, heatmaps and SAB risk profile with the aim of holistic reporting and analysis of the operational risk environment, emerging risk factors, losses as well as near misses in a timely and accurate manner, as well as monitoring preventative thresholds and trends.
  • Support the Risk Governance and Regulatory Reporting Senior Manager and wider team on any ad-hoc requests and thematic reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, Finance. Masters degree is preferred
  • Written and spoken English and Arabic.

Years of Experience:

  • Around 5 years of experience with preferred 3 years in a relevant role.
