Government Affairs Specialist

What You'll Do :

This role is responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with all government-related processes and documentation for employees and the organization.

What's on the menu (Duties & Responsibilities) This role will take direction from the Line manager and any other team member assigned by the line manager or HOD. Day-to-day tasks will include:

1. Facilitate Promo & Sale licenses for campaigns. Negotiate approvals for OOH advertisements. Expedite permits for marketing initiatives.

2. Manage delivery box compliance process. Secure Signage Licenses for all fleet assets. Ensure fleet meets municipal/traffic regulations.

3. Support trade license renewals & amendments.

4. On-ground support for official violations. Support with resolution to escalated consumer protection complaints. Mitigate regulatory disputes efficiently.

5. Provide regulatory advisory on new laws. Seek official clarifications on gray areas. Ensure operations remain within legal safety margins.

6. Support HR PRO with QFC-specific tasks. Utilize contacts to expedite shared processes. Assist with broader government liaison duties.

What We Need From You:

1. University diploma or above education.
2. Prior experience in an administrative support role is an advantage, but not essential.
3. Familiarity with local Qatar laws and government portals.
4. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
6. Proactive and detail-oriented with a focus on compliance.
7. Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
