Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement timely and cost effective initiatives to manage visas, passport office related activities and ministry of labor activities ensuring accurate transactions tracking and monitoring.
- Developing internal and external relationships using formal and informal channels to liaise with appropriate authorities / government bodies or contact persons to resolve any problems or matters concerning the Company, its operations or employees.
- Acting as the focal point of contact for senior management with regards to government relations.
- Building a knowledge base in relation to procedures, processes, regulations and provide consultation to internal departments on government processes.
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in regulation that may impact directly / indirectly the company or the employees participating in planning and executing any measures that should be considered in accordance to the changes to avoid any impact on the business.
- Managing and monitoring the execution of operational tasks by the Government Relations department including but not limited to MOL, GOSI, Municipality, and Passport office.
- Manage and oversee governmental entities operations in relation to MOL including but not limited to visa issuance, sponsorship transfer, iqama issuance and renewal, exit-reentry, final exit, information transfer, and absconding.
- Manage and oversee governmental entities operations in relation to Municipality including but not limited to medical cards issuance, renewal and medical tests in coordination with approved medical facilities.
- Manage and oversee governmental entities operations in relation to GOSI including but not limited to enrollment, deletion, salary adjustment and updates, and GOSI billing.
- Manage and oversee the company's expeditors in coordination with related government entities for cases that requires company representation with the related government entity.
- Responsible for all government portals and acting as the authorized user from the company side.
- Reporting all required information in relation with government relations.
Job Specifications
Minimum Job Qualifications Requirement (Academic, training, languages, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources from an accredited educational institution or any related field.
Minimum Work Experience:
- Minimum of 7 Years Experience in Human resources including 3 in management position.
- Proven Track record in government entities liaison in appropriate market for commercial / business operations purposes.
Skills & Specifications:
- High verbal/written communication skills.
- Mid-level technical background about Retail Industry is preferred.
