An exciting leadership opportunity has opened for an experienced Government Relations / Stakeholder Management Manager to join a dynamic organization shaping some of Abu Dhabi's most impactful developments.
This role is ideal for someone who excels at building strong relationships across government entities, authorities, consultants, and project stakeholders, ensuring collaboration, alignment, and seamless project delivery from concept to completion.
As the Manager of Stakeholder Management, you will:
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key external stakeholders, community groups, government departments, authorities, consultants, and contractors.
- Serve as a trusted representative to support senior leadership in public-facing engagements.
- Manage the interface between project teams and stakeholders in an organized, systematic manner.
- Oversee the approvals process for design packages, shop drawings, permits, inspections, and handover requirements.
- Ensure clear communication and compliance across all relevant statutory authorities.
- Lead stakeholder engagement strategies, outreach initiatives, and progress presentations.
- Build alliances and partnerships that create value for both the organization and the wider community.
- Collaborate with project and design managers to plan permitting strategies, mitigate risks, and prevent delays.
- Maintain deep knowledge of planning processes, regulations, and government requirements in Abu Dhabi.
We're looking for a candidate who:
- Communicates clearly and confidently in both Arabic and English.
- Has hands-on experience with building, roads, and utilities approval processes in the UAEespecially Abu Dhabi.
- Demonstrates strong leadership qualities and a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Understands how to assess issues within the wider business and regulatory ecosystem.
- Continuously seeks innovation and process improvement across teams and workflows.
- Builds strong relationships and fosters a positive, collaborative working environment.
