What You Will Do
- Act as Government Relations Officer;
- Maintain licences and government certificates liaising with municipality, economic department and any other government departments in relation to Trade Licence and immigration matters;
- Manage immigration and labour responsibilities of the company in Saudi (including GOSI, Mudad, QIWA, Muqeem etc.);
- Oversee arrangements with immigration, visa, and passport authorities to facilitate movement of employees and visitors;
- Organise attestation of certificates and legal translation of documents and other activities related to immigration and labour;
- Cultivate strong relationships through formal and informal channels, resolving company-related issues with relevant authorities;
- Act as a trusted advisor and first point of contact for Managers in government relations matters;
- Create reports and analysis as requested by the Direct Manager, Company's Management Board;
- Keep the Upper Management updated on new operational, and governmental regulations;
- Ensure that all mandatory legal regulations and standards are met;
- Cooperate with vendors, and service providers;
- Develop and put in place appropriate policies and procedures;
- Assist the Upper Management during the official meetings when necessary;
- Cooperate with other departments; mostly with the Administration Team, Legal Team, HR Team, HQ Administration Team, and other Teams;
- Work on projects as requested by the Direct Manager.
Desired Skills And Experience
- 3+ years of local experience in GRO role liaising with Immigration, Labour Department and other government departments for all employee affairs;
- In-depth knowledge of Saudization rules, Saudi labour and immigration rules, government policies, and labour laws (GOSI, Mudad, QIWA, Muqeem, ZATCA, Chamber of Commerce, etc.);
- Fluent English (C1 level), and native Arabic;
- Fluency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workplace;
- Holding KSA passport (Saudi national);
- Great self-management, and ownership skills;
- Exceptional project management and organisational skills;
- Strong problem solving, and interpersonal skills;
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
