Primary objective

Participate in engineering assignments under close supervision. Assignments may involve engineering, design , site survey and document gathering and testing and Inspection related to Electrical.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Use established procedures, gather and correlate basic data and perform or assemblies and the simpler phases of minor projects, where seasoned professional evaluation and ingenuity are not normally required.
  • To provide electrical engineering input to the project team at a graduate level.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with applicable Codes and Standards.
  • Prepare specifications for minor Electrical and bulks , datasheets, sizing / Load calculations, database , MTO and Electrical software based design deliverables.
  • Assist in planning and implementing safety, loss control and environmental programmes.
  • Participate in Graduate Development programmes scheduled by Training department
  • Establish, maintain and update competency records and report to the Mentor on periodic basis .
  • .Quality Assurance Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the relevant Quality Assurance system.
  • Safety Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Oil & Gas Business Unit . Understand and follow OH&S procedures

Qualification

4-year degree in Electrical Engineering, and may have up to one year experience since graduation.
