Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Alexandria for a Senior Academic Advisor. The Senior Academic Advisor will provide personalized academic and career counseling to students, assist with university application processes, guide students in educational decision-making, and navigate scholarship opportunities. The role also includes hosting information sessions, collaborating with universities, and keeping up-to-date with global education trends to provide accurate and relevant advice to students.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Student Counseling and Academic Advising with experience supporting students in their educational journeys.
  • Strong Communication skills, including the ability to explain academic options clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in Career Counseling to guide students in aligning education choices with long-term career goals.
  • A solid background in Education with knowledge of global academic systems and admission processes.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with students and international academic institutions.
  • Experience in working with diverse student populations, including international and government-sponsored students, is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
