Job Purpose:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and delivering innovative, high-quality visuals
for all Forbes Middle East social media platforms. The role involves leading creative daily posts
and monthly campaigns across social media, from concept to execution, while ensuring brand
consistency and collaborating closely with editorial and social media teams.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Designing and producing engaging visual content tailored for social media platforms
(Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Threads, YouTube, etc.) to strengthen brand visibility and
audience engagement.
• Conceptualizing and creating eye-catching visual designs aligned with Forbes Middle
East's editorial direction and brand identity to reinforce the company's presence across
digital platforms.
• Maintaining consistent brand identity across all social media content to build a strong,
recognizable brand image.
• Leading and executing creative campaigns from concept to final design across multiple
social formats (static, animated, short-form video, infographics) to deliver impactful digital
storytelling.
• Proofreading social media content for accuracy in spelling, alignment, and adherence to
brand guidelines before publishing.
• Organizing and maintaining a library of templates, images, and social design assets to
ensure efficiency, consistency, and quick turnaround for content production.
• Collaborating with social media and editorial teams to ensure visual consistency across
all channels.
• Leveraging AI-powered design tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway,
etc.) to streamline workflows, boost creativity, and produce innovative designs.
• Proposing and implementing enhanced visual approaches for social media formats to
improve engagement, user experience, and brand presence.
• Incorporating feedback into design revisions to ensure polished, accurate, and brand compliant visuals.
• Managing multiple design projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely
delivery of high-quality assets.
• Staying updated with design trends, AI tools, and social media standards to keep content
modern, innovative, and competitive.
• Organizing and achieving all design files and assets in a structured, professional manner
to ensure efficiency, accessibility, and consistency.
Job Specifications:
• Bachelor's degree in fine arts, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in Adobe Creative Suite or related design tools are an
advantage.
Experience:
• 3–5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within events or media
firms.
• Proven portfolio showcasing strong designs for banners and brochures.
• Exposure to digital media design, social media creatives, and marketing campaigns is
highly desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator,
Lightroom).
• Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Understanding photography editing, illustration, and visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with digital publishing tools and content management systems.
• Strong creative vision with the ability to translate concepts into impactful visuals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality design standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Dedicated and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of video editing or motion graphics is a plus.
