We are looking for a Graphic Designer/Illustrator to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media and combines hand-drawing and painting with digital media to produce visually captivating illustrations
The Graphic Designer/ Illustrator will be responsible for the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing, and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts, and photos
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Creates illustrations by preparing rough drafts, refining designs with illustration software, and using various colors, graphics, and effects to bring concepts to life.
Collaborate with the business, clients, and marketers to understand their needs and create appealing visuals that communicate messages effectively.
Study design briefs and determine requirements. Schedule projects and work according to budget constraints
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements and prepare rough drafts and present ideas to management.
Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software tools or by hand
Work with copywriters & Principle UX/UI Designers to produce final designs and test graphics across various media platforms.
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Ensure that printed illustrations meet quality and color standards
Brainstorm with the design & marketing teams to come up with new ideas, patterns, and styles
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or any related qualification.
Proven experience working on digital payments, fintech, digital consumer finance and digital banking portfolios is a plus
Proven work experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer or similar role for 2 years minimum is mandatory.
Competencies:
A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics on related products to our business domain.
Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
Familiarity and Solid knowledge of image editing and digital sketching software tools, like Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Adobe Illustrator, .etc
