The Group Corporate Controller is responsible for maintaining a consolidated financial and corporate finance view across all group companies and business verticals, while holding primary statutory and compliance responsibility for Dubai / UAE entities only.
The role combines group financial governance, intercompany structuring, transfer pricing oversight, treasury visibility, and hands-on financial analysis, serving as the central finance function at group headquarters and a key partner to senior management and shareholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Group Financial Oversight
Maintain a consolidated, group-level financial view across all business units and verticals
Establish and oversee intercompany service agreements, cost allocations, and recharge mechanisms
Design and monitor transfer pricing frameworks in coordination with external advisors
Ensure consistency in financial policies, reporting standards, and governance across the group
- UAE Compliance & Statutory Responsibility
Hold primary responsibility for financial compliance of Dubai / UAE entities
Coordinate UAE statutory filings, audits, and regulatory requirements
Liaise with local accountants, auditors, tax advisors, corporate service providers, and free-zone authorities
- Intercompany, Treasury & Banking
Oversee intercompany loan balances, interest calculations, and repayment schedules
Maintain visibility over group cash positions and liquidity
- Manage UAE banking relationships, including account openings, mandates, and ongoing KYC/AML
- Financial Analysis & Reporting
Deliver timely group management reporting to senior management, partners, and shareholders
Prepare consolidated dashboards, KPIs, and variance analysis
Provide hands-on financial analysis to support strategic, investment, and operational decisions
- Coordination & Process Leadership
Act as the central finance coordination point for remote finance teams and outsourced providers
Improve finance processes, controls, and reporting efficiency across the group
Background & Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, CFA) advantage
- 610 years of experience in group finance, corporate control, or corporate finance
- Strong experience with multi-entity structures, intercompany loans, and service agreements
- Working knowledge of UAE statutory, audit, and compliance frameworks
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills (hands-on)
- Excellent communication and written expression skills
- Proven ability to work with remote teams and external service providers
