We are recruiting for a Group Finance Director on behalf of a long-established holding conglomerate in Saudi Arabia. The Group oversees a diversified portfolio of businesses and is recognized for its strong governance, strategic growth, and commitment to operational excellence. With a solid legacy and a forward-looking vision, the organization continues to expand its capabilities and drive long-term value across its entities.

Position- Eastern Province, Al Khobar, KSA

Salary- 45,000 50,000 SAR All inclusive

Job Purpose

The Group Finance Director is a seasoned financial leader responsible for shaping and executing the Group's overall financial vision. This role provides strategic direction across financial planning, operations, governance, and performance management to ensure long-term stability, growth, and accountability. The position oversees all financial activities for the Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring sound financial practices, compliance, and effective decision support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Leadership

Set the Group's financial direction, guide capital allocation, and drive initiatives that enhance profitability and sustainable growth.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring analytical insight and accurate data support organizational decisions.

3. Transaction Oversight & Controls

Ensure the correctness of financial transactions, robust reconciliations, and a strong internal control environment.

4. Monthly Financial Reporting

Deliver timely and reliable monthly performance reports and maintain the integrity of all financial statements.

5. External Audit Coordination

Manage relationships with external auditors and secure the timely completion of annual audited financials in full compliance with IFRS.

6. Governance & Compliance

Establish and uphold effective financial governance, guaranteeing adherence to statutory, tax, zakat, and regulatory obligations across all business units.

7. Ethical & Transparent Practices

Promote a culture of transparency, ethical behavior, and disciplined financial stewardship throughout the Group.

8. Financial Risk Governance

Align financial risk oversight with the enterprise risk management framework to safeguard the Group's interests.

9. Treasury & Cash Flow Management

Oversee liquidity, banking relationships, and funding arrangements to optimize capital structure and working capital performance.

10. Risk & Performance Monitoring

Identify potential risks and track key performance indicators and operational metrics to enhance financial resilience.

11. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Lead and inspire the finance team while partnering with senior leadership, business heads, investors, and the Board to provide actionable financial insights.

  • Develop and nurture finance talent, ensuring succession planning and capability growth.
  • Work closely with business units to improve margins, streamline costs, and elevate strategic decision-making.
  • Present performance results, financial risks, and dashboards to the Executive Committee, Board, and Audit Committee.

12. Finance Digitalization

Drive the adoption of digital finance tools, including ERP systems, dashboards, and business intelligence platforms, to strengthen reporting and operational efficiency.

13. Investment & M&A Support

Perform financial modeling, valuations, and due diligence for new investments, acquisitions, and divestments.

14. IPO & Corporate Restructuring

Lead financial workstreams required for IPO readiness, including restructuring, compliance enhancements, and CMA regulatory alignment.

15. Insurance & Risk Coverage

Ensure adequate insurance coverage is maintained for all group entities.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent; Chartered Accountant preferred.
  • Strong command of IFRS and IAS standards.

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive senior financial leadership experience, with at least 8 years in a Group-level or multi-entity environment.

Skills & Competencies

Technical Expertise:

Advanced capability in financial strategy, capital planning, and ROI-driven analysis

Strong knowledge of auditing, compliance, and multi-jurisdictional regulatory frameworks

Comprehensive experience in treasury, liquidity, and financial risk management

Leadership & Soft Skills:

Ability to lead strategically and influence across diverse business units

Exceptional communication skills, with confidence presenting at Board level

Strong decision-making ability, resilience, and results orientation

Core Competencies:

High accuracy and attention to detail

Strong English proficiency

Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
