Job Mission/Purpose:

The Group Financial Controller will lead the group's financial consolidation and reporting functions within the dynamic pharmaceutical sector.

Successful caliber will report directly to the Group CFO with a strategic role overseeing the preparation of consolidated financial statements, maintaining robust internal controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the group-wide financial consolidation process, managing multiple legal entities across global operations.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
  • Oversee the integrity and functionality of the Oracle ERP environment, ensuring accurate data flow and reporting.
  • Ensure alignment of accounting practices and policies across subsidiaries and regions.
  • Coordinate with business unit finance Directors to support the group close process and financial reporting requirements.
  • Drive process improvements and implement automation for faster and more accurate reporting cycles.
  • Serves as the primary liaison with external auditors and manage the year-end audit process.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard financial data and maintain compliance.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisions by the Group CFO and senior leadership.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team within group reporting and consolidation.

Qualifications (Educational Background & preferred work experience):

  • CPA qualification is required.
  • 10-15 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in consolidation and group reporting.
  • Strong command of Oracle ERP systems.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Excellent understanding of IFRS.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a multi-entity environment.
  • Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Proven expertise in Oracle ERP systems & a solid track record in group consolidation.
