Job Description

Job Purpose


The Group Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will act as a strategic partner to the CFO, driving financial performance, strengthening reporting through digitalisation and automation, and supporting strategic decision-making across the Group.This leadership role is central to business planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and investment evaluation, providing insights that influence strategic, financial, and operational outcomes. The role combines strong technical FP&A expertise with commercial acumen, leadership capability, and forward-looking analytical thinking.


Core Tasks & Responsibilities



  • Lead Group-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes

  • Champion digitalisation and innovation within FP&A, leveraging AI, automation, and BI tools

  • Prepare and present financial analysis, executive dashboards, and performance reports to senior leadership and the Board

  • Partner with business units and subsidiaries to consolidate budgets, identify risks and opportunities, and align with strategic priorities

  • Evaluate investment opportunities and challenge proposals from a commercial and financial perspective

  • Continuously improve FP&A processes, controls, and reporting to enhance efficiency and insight

  • Support cash flow management and scenario analysis for key business initiatives

  • Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team, providing mentorship and development

  • Represent Finance on internal committees and cross-functional initiatives

  • Contribute to corporate decision-making and risk mitigation discussions

  • Maintain strong understanding of operating businesses to provide actionable financial guidance

  • Lead preparation of Board and Committee materials and liaise with auditors and key stakeholders

  • Foster a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, and proactive financial stewardship


Core Competencies



  • Qualified Chartered Accountant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field

  • CFA highly desirable

  • MBA from a globally accredited university in Finance, Strategy, or related discipline is desirable

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics tools

  • Experience with ERP and BI systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, SAP, Power BI, Tableau)

  • Strong leadership and people management capability

  • Strategic mindset with attention to detail

  • Excellent analytical, modelling, and forecasting skills

  • Digital fluency with a focus on process improvement

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to influence senior leadership and Board-level decisions

  • Strong commercial acumen and business understanding

  • High curiosity and problem-solving orientation

  • Solid grasp of capital allocation, cash flow management, and capital efficiency

  • Arabic fluency highly desirable


Experience



  • 1012 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Investor Relations, or related financial leadership roles

  • Experience within a diversified group or investment holding structure, ideally in the GCC

  • Exposure to executive leadership and Board reporting environments

  • Strong background in investment evaluation and financial modelling

  • Demonstrated ability to drive finance transformation and digital initiatives

  • Ezperience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders

  • Proven ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear, strategic insights
