Job Description

1. HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage complete employee lifecycle: onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation for UAE and India.
  • Oversee HRIS, employee files, and reporting accuracy.
  • Ensure consistency in HR processes across stores and offices.

2. Recruitment & Staffing (Hands-On)

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for retail stores, warehouses, and head office roles.
  • Manage bulk hiring for store staff including walk-ins, referrals, and agency coordination.
  • Ensure timely closures of vacancies to avoid store manpower gaps.
  • Support manpower planning and seasonal hiring needs.

3. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee monthly payroll processing for UAE and India in coordination with finance.
  • Ensure accuracy in attendance, overtime, incentives, and deductions.
  • Manage statutory benefits: gratuity, leave encashment, PF, ESI, bonuses, and WPS.
  • Support annual salary revisions and incentive administration.

4. Employee Relations & Discipline

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances and concerns.
  • Handle disciplinary actions, warnings, investigations, and terminations as per policy.
  • Support store managers in managing people issues effectively.
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies.

5. Performance Management & Attendance Control

  • Implement and administer performance appraisal cycles.
  • Support store-level target setting and productivity tracking.
  • Monitor attendance, absenteeism, and leave management.
  • Provide performance data and insights to management.

6. Compliance & Labor Law (UAE & India)

  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, MOHRE requirements, visas, and labor contracts.
  • Manage visa processes, renewals, cancellations, and government portals in UAE.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws including Shops & Establishment, PF, ESI, Gratuity, and Contract Labour.
  • Prepare for audits and maintain statutory registers and records.

7. Training, Engagement & Retention

  • Coordinate induction and basic training programs for new hires.
  • Support store managers in coaching and people development.
  • Drive basic employee engagement initiatives suitable for retail workforce.
  • Analyze attrition trends and implement retention actions.

8. Policy Implementation & Governance

  • Implement HR policies and procedures across all locations.
  • Update policies based on labor law changes and business needs.
  • Ensure managers and employees understand HR rules and processes.
  • Maintain discipline and governance across retail operations.
