Exciting Career Opportunity: Group Insurance Manager (Abu Dhabi)
Ali & Sons Holding LLC, a leading and diversified business group in the UAE, is seeking a Group Insurance Manager to take full ownership of the organization's insurance portfolio. This is a high-impact role where you will shape the group's insurance strategy, manage complex policies, and negotiate effectively in a competitive market.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and handle all group insurance policies, workmen's Compensation, third party Liability, Cyber, Accidents, Loss of Revenue, Plant & Machinery, Motors, Engineering & Marine.
- Lead claims management with a focus on complex and high-value cases, ensuring effective settlements.
- Negotiate competitive premiums and terms with top-tier insurance providers, underwriters, reinsurers, and loss adjusters.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory updates (including UAE Central Bank requirements), and ensure compliance across the group.
- Provide data-driven analysis, reports, and recommendations to senior management for risk optimization.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across internal entities and with external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 1015 years combined experience in multinational insurance brokers and local insurance companies, with exposure across all major policy lines.
- Strong track record in negotiating large claims and premium reductions.
- Deep knowledge of the UAE/Gulf insurance market and a strong professional network.
- Insurance certifications (actuarial studies preferred).
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
