Job Purpose
Responsible for providing advanced technical support and executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the reliable operation of facilities, equipment, and systems across all segments of Abou Ghaly Motors Group, including automotive brands, mobility, and lubricants. The role emphasizes technical problem-solving, maintenance planning support, compliance with safety standards, and continuous improvement, while acting as a subject-matter expert and supporting junior technicians.
Responsibilities:
Technical Maintenance & Support
- Execute and support preventive and corrective maintenance activities across assigned equipment and facilities.
- Diagnose complex technical faults and lead troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime.
- Support the development and updating of preventive maintenance plans and procedures.
Maintenance Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate daily maintenance tasks with technicians and supervisors to ensure timely execution.
- Support maintenance scheduling and follow-up on work orders and completion status.
- Ensure proper use of tools, spare parts, and materials during maintenance activities.
Safety & Compliance
- Apply and enforce safety procedures, permits to work, and company HSE standards during maintenance activities.
- Ensure maintenance work complies with applicable technical, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Performance Monitoring & Improvement
- Support the collection and analysis of maintenance data, breakdown reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Identify recurring issues and propose technical solutions and improvement actions.
Technical Guidance & Knowledge Sharing
- Provide on-the-job technical guidance and support to technicians and junior engineers.
- Participate in training, knowledge transfer, and standardization of maintenance practices across the group.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and technical documentation.
- Prepare technical reports and input for maintenance performance reviews when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- 57 years of hands-on maintenance experience in industrial, automotive, or facilities environments.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of safety and maintenance standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Basic planning, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance systems.
