Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Hairdresser role located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Kids Salon Stylist who is experienced in children's haircuts, trending hairstyles, and hair braiding for both kids and adults while providing excellent customer service to clients. Day-to-day tasks include consulting with clients to determine their preferences, performing hair care routines, staying updated on the latest styling trends, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure client satisfaction and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform kids haircuts, including modern and trending styles
• Provide hair braiding services for children and adults
• Recommend suitable styles based on child's age and hair type
• Ensure a safe, comfortable, and positive experience for children
• Communicate clearly with parents regarding haircut and style preferences
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper sanitation of tools and work area
• Assist during busy periods, birthday parties, and special events
• Follow salon policies, safety, and hygiene standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in kids haircuts and trending styles
• Hair braiding skills for kids and adults is mandatory
• Experience working with children is preferred
• Patient, friendly, and professional attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced salon environment
• Knowledge of salon hygiene and safety practices
• Proficiency in hair styling and creating a variety of styles to suit clients preferences
• Expertise in hair care and hair cutting techniques
• Knowledge of cosmetology principles and hair treatments
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Previous experience in a professional hairdressing role is an asset
• Ability to work effectively in a team and create a positive, welcoming environment for clients
• Certification or diploma in Hairdressing, Cosmetology, or a related field
