Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Hajj & Umrah Operations Manager to lead and manage the full lifecycle of our pilgrimage programs.
This role combines package design, supplier negotiation, corporate and group sales, operational execution, and team management. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring profitable packages, strong supplier agreements, successful deal closures, and seamless trip operations.
Key Responsibilities1. Package Development & Pricing
- Design structured Hajj and Umrah packages (economy, standard, premium, VIP).
- Build detailed itineraries including flights, accommodation, transportation, visas, catering, and religious guidance services.
- Develop competitive pricing models that ensure strong margins.
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and seasonal pricing fluctuations.
2. Supplier Negotiation & Contract Management
- Negotiate contracts with hotels in Makkah and Madinah.
- Coordinate with transportation providers and ground operators in Saudi Arabia.
- Secure favorable rates, allotments, and service-level agreements.
- Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with suppliers.
3. Corporate & Group Business Development
- Develop partnerships with organizations arranging Hajj and Umrah for employees.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals to companies and institutions.
- Lead negotiations and close group contracts.
- Maintain strong relationships to generate repeat and referral business.
4. Trip Operations & Execution
- Oversee end-to-end operational execution of each trip.
- Coordinate flights, accommodation, transport, and on-ground logistics.
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi Hajj and Umrah regulations.
- Resolve operational challenges efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure high pilgrim satisfaction and service quality standards.
5. Team & Agent Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise trip leaders and accompanying staff.
- Manage sales agents and ensure accurate communication with clients.
- Assign responsibilities and monitor performance.
- Establish operational discipline and accountability standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 35 years of direct experience in Hajj and Umrah operations.
- Strong negotiation and contract management experience.
- Proven track record in closing corporate or group pilgrimage deals.
- Deep understanding of Saudi Hajj and Umrah systems and regulations.
- Strong leadership, planning, and crisis management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to travel frequently during Hajj and Umrah seasons.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
