Role Summary

Time Training Center is seeking a highly experienced HAZMAT & HAZCOM Instructor on a freelance basis to deliver industry-focused safety training programs aligned with international standards such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Globally Harmonized System (GHS) guidelines.

The ideal candidate must possess strong real-world experience in hazardous materials handling, chemical safety, and workplace hazard communication, combined with proven training delivery capability. The role emphasizes practical application, regulatory compliance, and emergency response readiness — not theory-only instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training on HAZMAT and HAZCOM standards and practices

• Teach chemical hazard classification, labeling, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

• Provide practical training on hazardous material handling, storage, and transportation

• Conduct emergency response training for chemical spills, leaks, and incidents

• Explain GHS labeling system, pictograms, and hazard communication requirements

• Deliver risk assessment and hazard identification workshops

• Use real-life industrial case studies and incident analysis

• Prepare and deliver structured presentations and training materials independently

• Develop exercises, drills, and competency assessments

• Ensure compliance with international safety standards and UAE regulations

• Adapt training delivery to different industry sectors (oil & gas, construction, manufacturing)

Mandatory Experience Requirements

• Minimum 20+ years of experience in HSE, chemical safety, or hazardous materials management

• Strong hands-on experience in industrial environments (oil & gas, petrochemical, or similar)

• Minimum 5+ years of field, plant, or site safety experience

• Prior HAZMAT / HAZCOM training delivery experience is mandatory

• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and GHS requirements

• Experience in emergency response, spill control, and incident management

• Must be able to independently prepare professional training presentations

• Must not be from academic-only background — real industry exposure required
