Job Summary

The Head Chef is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of the Central Kitchen and all Outlet Kitchens under Bacha Coffee UAE. This role ensures culinary excellence, operational efficiency, food safety compliance, cost control, and consistency of brand standards across all locations.

The Head Chef will oversee production planning, menu execution, kitchen team development, quality assurance, and coordination between Central Kitchen and outlets to ensure seamless daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall operations of Central Kitchen and Outlet Kitchen(s), including production planning, preparation, dispatch, and service execution.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards across all outlets in line with Bacha Coffee brand guidelines.
  • Manage production schedules based on demand forecasts while maintaining optimal stock levels and inventory control.
  • Monitor food cost, wastage, yield, and inventory variances; implement corrective actions to maintain target cost percentages.
  • Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, UAE food safety regulations, and all hygiene and inspection requirements.
  • Lead, train, and develop the kitchen team, including performance evaluations, manpower planning, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Oversee recipe standardization, menu development, and product innovation in coordination with management.
  • Analyze kitchen-related P&L, contribute to annual budget planning, and provide regular performance reports to management.
  • Coordinate closely with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and HR to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
  • Support new outlet openings, including kitchen setup, equipment planning, and team training.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience as Head Chef in multi-unit operations.
  • Experience managing Central Kitchen production is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and UAE food safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience in food cost control and budgeting.
  • Experience in luxury or premium F&B concept is an advantage.
