HEAD CHEF - CATERING
VIP CATERING EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL
EXPERIENCE WORKING IN HIGH VOLUME KITCHENS IS ESSENTIAL

Food People are working with an exciting restaurant group to support their search for a Head Chef to develop and oversee the catering operations within the business. This person will be responsible for developing the menus for the catering operations as well as creating and implementing SOPs across the business and overseeing the catering for all their events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the kitchen teams and ensure all items are made in line with brand standards.
- Oversee the daily operations of the business and implement procedures that are in line with the company guidelines to ensure successful working relationships.
- Design new menus and introduce new items and creative cuisines of the highest quality to ensure that the business is always at the forefront of new culinary innovation.
- Ensure that food quality is consistent with company standards, by conducting frequent quality checks of dishes to ensure that the kitchen is providing the best service possible.
- Responsible for the smooth running of the business and managing areas of profit, stock, wastage control, hygiene practices, and training within the kitchen.
- Responsible for culinary monthly executive and stock reports and ensuring that audit standards across the site are comfortably met.
- Monitor business performance on-site by conducting assessments of employees against KPIs and P&L accounts.
KEY INGREDIENTS
- Hands-on and can-do attitude.
- Experience within VIP catering is essential.
- Experience in creating SOP's and training manuals.
- 5-8 years of culinary experience within well-known catering operations.
- Experience in menu development and creation.
