Key Responsibilities
1. Green Coffee & Inventory Control
Full control and management of green coffee inventory (receiving, dispatch, FIFO, batch tracking).
Quality assessment of green coffee and documentation of defects and specifications.
Stock planning and coordination with sales and procurement teams.
2. Roasting & Profile Development
Lead roasting operations and develop espresso and filter roast profiles.
Ensure consistency and quality across all production batches.
Optimize roast profiles based on customer requirements and market needs.
3. Quality Control & Sampling
Manage and execute green and roasted coffee sampling.
Conduct quality control checks and cupping sessions.
Approve all samples prior to customer presentation or sales.
Monitor roast consistency and quality standards.
4. Customer Relations & Presentation
Maintain strong relationships with B2B and B2C customers.
Professionally present coffees, roast profiles, and brand concepts.
Handle customer feedback, quality concerns, and technical support.
Assist customers with brewing, extraction, and recipe development.
5. Training & Education
Train internal teams (roastery, sales, QC).
Deliver workshops, classes, and training sessions for customers.
Develop educational content related to coffee, roasting, and brewing.
6. Internal Operations Management (Al Quoz)
Manage day-to-day operations of the Al Quoz location.
Coordinate between roasting, warehouse, and sales teams.
Improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
7. Sales Support & Business Development
Provide technical support to the sales team for roasted and green coffee.
Participate in product development and portfolio expansion.
Support growth of key accounts and long-term partnerships.
8. Additional Responsibilities
Create and maintain SOPs and documentation.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
Prepare regular operational and quality reports.
Represent the company at events, exhibitions, and industry activities.
