Role Description

Finance Manageroversees an organization's financial health, managing planning, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decisions, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, risk management, compliance, and leading finance teams to ensure fiscal stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Developing long-term financial strategies, creating operating budgets, and conducting financial forecasting to guide business decisions.

o Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations.

  • Cash Flow & Risk Management: Monitoring day-to-day financial transactions (cash, bank, ledgers), managing liquidity, and mitigating financial risks.
  • Compliance & Control: Ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), local statutory regulations, and internal control frameworks.

oCoordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required.

oPrepare and settle all the required tax reports, either online or physical.

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Preparing, analyzing, and presenting accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Investment & Decision Support: Advising senior leadership on profit-maximizing opportunities, capital allocation, and investment strategies.

oIdentify and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls and risk management practices.

oDrive process improvements and implement best practices in financial management and reporting.

  • Mentoring & Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development and high performance.

Qualifications

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics; a CPA, CFA.
  • Experience:3 years experience as a Financial Manager. 5 years experience in accounting or financial analysis.

o Proven track record of managing financial operations in a mid to large-sized organization.

o Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.

o Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

o Experience in health & fitness and/or subscription-based model company is a must.

  • Competencies:Strong proficiency in data analysis, financial forecasting, and modeling.

o Proficiency with financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.

  • Soft Skills:Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
