Job Description

The Head of Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth across the organization diverse portfolio by sourcing, evaluating, and executing new business opportunities. This role will cover joint ventures, greenfield projects, distribution agreements, and strategic partnerships, as well as supporting ad-hoc growth initiatives. The position requires a highly experienced professional who can manage the full business development cycle from market scanning and opportunity filtering to deal execution, closing, and post-implementation tracking ensuring measurable and sustainable value creation.

Strategic Business Development

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy that supports growth targets for existing portfolio companies and new ventures.
  • Align business development initiatives with corporate strategy, investment priorities, and Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.

Deal Development, Execution & Closing

  • Lead the development of business cases, feasibility studies, and commercial models for potential ventures.
  • Oversee the execution phase, ensuring clear timelines, accountability, and risk management processes are in place.

Post-Implementation Tracking

  • Monitor newly launched ventures, partnerships, and projects against agreed KPIs.
  • Identify early performance issues and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions

Market & Opportunity Identification

  • Engage with government bodies, mega-project owners, and industry stakeholders to identify projects and programs aligned with organization's sectors.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, industry leaders, and government agencies.
  • Represent the Organization at key industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.

Market & Opportunity Identification

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry mapping to identify target customers, sector trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities and apply a structured filtering and prioritization framework to focus on the most viable projects.

Ad-hoc Growth Projects

  • Manage special projects outside of regular business development scope that support corporate growth objectives.
  • Provide advisory support to portfolio company leaders on market entry strategies, product launches, and partnership structures.
