Lead the bank's Cash Management and Payments proposition across payments, collections, liquidity, merchant acquiring and digital channels. Develop, commercialize and manage a competitive suite of cash-management solutions that support government, corporate and mid-market clients. Strengthen client primacy, drive CASA and flow growth and enable digital and ecosystem integration across Sharjah's priority sectors.
Key Responsibilities1. Product Ownership & Development
Own and enhance the full suite of cash-management products including payments, collections, virtual accounts, liquidity tools, merchant acquiring and cash-logistics solutions.
Lead market analysis, competitor benchmarking, regulatory scanning and product lifecycle planning (short-term and long-term).
Define and maintain the cash product roadmap, including new product development, enhancements and product retirement where necessary.
Conduct continuous assessment of client needs across government, corporates and sectors to ensure solutions remain relevant and competitive.
2. Pricing, Commercialization & Revenue Enablement
Govern pricing and fee structures for cash management solutions, including waivers and concessions based on clear commercial justification.
Develop commercialization plans for core cash products including target-client lists, sales materials and client education content.
Work closely with Corporate Banking RM teams to support deal structuring, solution design and cross-sell of payment, collection and liquidity solutions.
Drive adoption of digital cash capabilities (online banking, mobile approvals, instant payments, APIs).
3. Digital Channels & Integration
Maintain a cash innovation pipeline and prioritize enhancements based on commercial impact and regulatory developments.
Define requirements for digital platform upgrades (corporate online banking, mobile approvals, APIs, H2H).
Work with Digital and Technology teams to enhance corporate channels, including APIs, H2H, SWIFT for Corporates and ERP integrations.
Identify emerging trends in payments, merchant services and liquidity management, including opportunities with fintechs and alternative providers.
4. Solution Structuring & Liquidity Management
Structure customized cash solutions (virtual accounts, liquidity sweeping, pooling, target balance structures) for strategic clients.
Develop collection solutions for government and priority sectors using multi-channel inputs (POS/QR, VAs, DD, e-commerce).
5. Governance, Risk & Cross-Functional Alignment
Coordinate closely with Operations, Risk, Legal and Compliance on product governance, documentation, policies and process readiness.
Participate in internal governance forums and cross-functional working groups to ensure alignment with bank-wide initiatives.
Maintain and periodically update product governance documents (PPGs, internal guidelines, approval memos).
Ensure products comply with regulatory and BOS policies.
Lead cross-functional coordination with Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Technology and Service teams.
Support process re-engineering efforts to improve turnaround times, operational efficiency and client experience.
6. Partnerships & Market Engagement
Identify and evaluate third-party solution providers (PSPs, fintechs, cash-logistics partners) to expand the bank's capability set.
Manage commercial terms, service levels and ongoing performance reviews with partners.
Drive ecosystem-led cash solutions for education, retail, contracting and healthcare sectors.
Manage relationships with Visa, Mastercard, PSPs and collection/logistics partners.
Participate in product launches, client events, conferences and roadshows to promote BoS cash-management capabilities.
Support product launches, client outreach and marketing initiatives to promote cash-management solutions.
Skills & CompetenciesExtensive experience in cash management and payments product management, ideally gained in a leading UAE or regional bank.
Deep understanding of payments, collections, liquidity structures, merchant acquiring, and corporate digital channels.
Proven ability to develop and commercialize cash products, supported by strong analytical skills and market awareness.
Experience with digital payments, API/H2H integrations, ERP connectivity and instant payments.
Strong coordination skills across Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Digital and Corporate Banking.
Clear communication, executive presence and the ability to support front-line teams in client engagement.
