EgyCham is hiring Head of Collections for one of our clients in Real Estate Brokerage, located in New Cairo.
Role Description
- Lead and manage the full collections cycle for brokerage deals, including reservation fees, down payments, and installment follow-ups in alignment with developers payment schedules.
- Monitor and control client payment plans across multiple developers to ensure timely collections and minimize overdue balances.
- Track and analyze aging reports, collection ratios, and cash inflow to ensure achievement of monthly collection targets.
- Coordinate closely with the Sales Team to ensure proper client handover, accurate contract data, and smooth follow-up on due payments.
- Manage relationships with developers collection departments to follow up on client payments, confirmations, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Handle escalated cases with clients, including negotiation of payment plans, settlements, and resolution of disputes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
- From 14 to 16 years of experience in collections, including at least 3 to 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in real estate brokerage is a must.
- Strong experience handling brokerage deals, developer payment plans, and client installment follow-ups.
- Solid understanding of real estate contracts, reservation process, cancellations, and commission structures.
- Proven track record of achieving collection targets and improving cash flow performance.
- Strong knowledge of aging analysis, collection ratios, and cash flow forecasting.
- High attention to detail with strong control over client accounts, contracts, and payment records.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume collections portfolios.
- New Cairo or nearby residences are preferred.
