Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • In charge of creating new content strategies, managing the workflow of our content team, and going through analysis reports to find ways for improvement.
  • Will oversee the day-to-day activities of the content team and ensure the production of content that generates web traffic, increases engagement rate, improves customer experience, and brings in new customers.
  • Oversees the development and management of the business's brand standards and content style guides, as well as the overall expression of the business's corporate identity in the content it puts out.
  • Develops and oversees an integrated content strategy that encompasses channel selection and focus, editorial governance, and metrics to be applied and aligned with the business's overall objectives.
  • Hire and supervise talented creatives, including Freelance Writers and Graphic Designers, and coordinate their activities to achieve social media campaign objectives.
  • Enables structured content creation capabilities through the implementation of models and processes for sourcing information, analysing, and creating content.
  • Design suitable messages that target apt customers
  • Charged with designing and implementing measurement systems that actively measure, manage, optimize and communicate the performance of the content put out by the business against the business's operational objectives and strategies.
  • Works in sync with the digital team and agencies to create a robust paid, earned and owned strategy for growth on all social channels.
  • Identify target customers, set clear objectives, build an effective content strategy to engage the audience, increase traffic and boost conversions.
  • Track social media campaigns key performance metrics to maximize results and report progress to management.
  • Brainstorming visual and copy ideas with other members of the creative team
  • Modifying content until the VP/SVP is satisfied
  • Overseeing the production phase.
  • Monitor social media trends, including developments in design, applications, strategy and innovation to stay relevant and effective.
  • Lead and inspire the development of first-class content by the content department personnel along with other production means inclusive of social media posts, videos, infographics, blogs, and data visualization in order to ensure optimal delivery of content to target audiences across multiple channels.
  • Plays a collaborative role by partnering up with the marketing team to support marketing activities such as product branding, content, and messages
  • Acts as a mentor to key content department personnel, ensuring a steady, gradual improvement in their professional skills and gearing them up for the occupation of his position in future.
  • Partner with the sales team for the purpose of developing sales content and the identification of target consumers and potential markets.
  • Leading and managing junior writers to ensure grammatically correct and compelling content across all designated deliverables
  • Execute project plans ensuring timely delivery of final material.
  • Follow & implement the DWTC Policies & Procedures.
  • Oversees all the content put out by the business to the media through social media, digital channels, newsletters, emailers, websites and so forth.
  • Oversees all of the business's social media channels in regard to content, promotion, consumer engagement, customer service, performance management, and listings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism,
  • Business Administration, English, Public Relations, International Relations, Information Technology, Law, Psychology, or any other related field.
  • Knowledge of the content structure and of the English/target language including the spelling of words, meaning and rules of grammar and arrangement very well.
  • Knowledge of media production, dissemination and communication methods and techniques.
  • Knowledge of methods and principles and for promoting, selling and showing products
  • or services
  • Proven experience of at least 10 years in content management, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in an executive role.
  • Should have had experience in the management of a team, leading that team to successful accomplishment of its goals.
  • Must demonstrate a keen interest and competency in technology, technological appliances, and relevant software's.
  • Highly knowledgeable on the best social media practices will have vast knowledge in the workings and navigation of key social media platforms as well as the competitive and regulatory landscapes of each of those platforms.
  • Demonstrable experience of building a content marketing strategy that impacts business results.
  • Excellent written skills with the ability to present at board level and inspire a team.
  • Track record of managing external marketing agencies.
