Responsibilities
The Head of Content Operations, MENA sets the TikTok Content strategy for the MENA markets, with heavy focus on KSA and UAE, to evolve the value proposition for the local TikTok ecosystem. The Main partners will include product team, sales, communications, marketing, business development and policy.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for building a world-class team and executing TikTok strategy for the market, with a primary focus on growing user base and content ecosystem in the region.
- Lead local content strategies to grow priority content formats and creator/communities, set strategic content partnerships with creators and publishers across priority verticals, and to drive diversified and safe high-quality content on the platform to attract and retain users.
- Driving local content strategies aligned to product priorities to drive product adoption. Working closely with Product and Ops colleagues, identifying key platform goals for creators and publishers across TV/Film, News, Sports and L5 verticals.
- Set regional OKRs, metrics and success measures and strategies to deliver upon those goals. Rollout programs and content strategies that will help mobilize at scale creators and publishers, consistent with our overall platform objectives.
- Lead and grow teams to manage the overall content communities, creators, content partnerships, and in-app content initiatives at the regional level.
- Serve as a spokesperson as necessary for TikTok with partners and press, to present TikTok's narrative clearly and with local resonance.
- Partner closely with the GBS, product, user growth, T&S, legal, comms, and policy teams in order to support, innovate and effectively grow our user base at key market levels, also to support revenue efforts.
- Work on strategic cross-functional workstreams and forums to drive best-in-class operation of the business in the region, in partnership with other regional leaders.
- Identify content opportunities and business challenges for the platform in the region, including monitoring competitors and industry/market trends.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in a major media or tech business, ideally with a focus on content operations or development, marketing, content partnerships, and/or multi-channel content platforms.
- Deep understanding of the content, social media and media business landscape; familiarity with both traditional and advanced digital marketing channels; strong insight into digital content strategies and product operations.
- Experience working with online communities and media outlets.
- Experience building, managing, leading, and inspiring creative, collaborative, and high-performing teams and proven performance indirectly leveraging cross-functional teams to drive strategic growth initiatives
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to be flexible and meet deadlines in a fastpaced, startup environment. Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities
