Head of Events and Media Professionals Experience - Emirati Applicants

Job Purpose

We are currently seeking to appoint a Section Head – Events and Media Professionals Experience to lead a critical function within a high-profile, government-aligned environment.

The role is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of strategic events while enhancing the overall engagement experience for media professionals, journalists, and key stakeholders. This position plays a key role in strengthening institutional positioning and ensuring the delivery of best-in-class services and interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the annual operational plan in alignment with organizational strategy

• Establish and monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and service standards

• Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of official events, including press conferences, forums, panel discussions, and networking engagements

• Ensure adherence to event protocols, branding guidelines, and media coverage requirements

• Design and continuously enhance the engagement model and experience journey for media professionals

• Manage stakeholder relationships, including journalists, editors, and strategic partners

• Address feedback and identify continuous improvement opportunities to maintain high satisfaction levels

• Lead and develop the team to ensure operational excellence and high performance

• Introduce best practices and innovative approaches in event management and stakeholder engagement

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Media, or a related field

• Minimum of 10–12 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on events and media engagement

• Proven experience in managing high-profile, large-scale events

• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities

• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams

• Strong strategic planning and execution skills
