Head of Finance and Accounting

Position: Chief Accountant (Egypt)

Reporting to: Finance Manager/China Headquarters Financial Management Center

Work Location: Egypt (Suez Canal Economic Development Zone)

Salary Range: Negotiable

Job Requirements

1. Certified: Must hold a locally recognized accounting qualification certificate in Egypt.

2. Extensive Experience: 5+ years of full-scale financial experience in Egyptian companies, manufacturing/export processing background preferred.

3. Local Compliance:

3-1. Proficient in Egyptian accounting standards, able to independently complete a full set of accounts and reports.

3-2. Able to independently complete the entire process of VAT and income tax declarations, with experience in tax optimization.

3-3. Familiar with customs procedures and foreign exchange settlement practices.

4. Bonus Experience:

4-1. Experience working in Egyptian public free zones (especially Chinese-funded enterprises).

4-2. Participation in the entire lifecycle of financial work for manufacturing projects from planning to operation.

4-3 Possess the ability to communicate and resolve complex issues with external agencies such as tax bureaus and auditing firms.

4-4 Proficient in using mainstream ERP systems (such as Oracle, SAP, Kingdee/Yonyou International Edition).

4-5 Fluent in business English (basic Chinese proficiency preferred).
