Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of HR to lead the people strategy for a growing hospitality business. This role will be instrumental in shaping a high-performing, service-driven culture, supporting business growth, and ensuring best-in-class HR practices across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement the overall HR strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all people-related matters
  • Drive organisational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy

Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

  • Lead recruitment strategy to attract top talent across front-line and corporate roles
  • Strengthen employer brand within the hospitality market
  • Ensure a seamless and engaging candidate experience

Employee Experience & Culture

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies
  • Champion company values and service excellence

Learning & Development

  • Design and implement training programs focused on leadership, service standards, and operational excellence
  • Support career progression and succession planning across the business

Performance & Rewards

  • Oversee performance management frameworks
  • Develop competitive compensation and benefits structures
  • Ensure alignment between performance, rewards, and business outcomes

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations
  • Oversee HR policies, procedures, and systems
  • Manage employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution

Requirements

  • 10+ years of HR experience, with at least 35 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience within the hospitality industry (hotels, restaurants, or leisure)
  • Strong understanding of high-volume, customer-facing workforce environments
  • Experience managing multi-site or regional operations
  • Solid knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
