Title: Head of Global Marketing (Global FMCG Food & Grains)

- Role Overview
Hamsons Foodstuff Trading is seeking a Head of Global Marketing to lead and execute global marketing strategy across the United States, United Kingdom, and UAE, with a strong focus on premium FMCG and staple food categories, including rice and grains.
This role requires a strategic yet execution-driven leader who understands regional consumer behavior, cultural nuances, and retail dynamics across international markets. The Head of Marketing will be responsible for creating market-specific content and campaigns while ensuring brand consistency across all regions.
The role will oversee digital, social, influencer, retail, and in-store marketing initiatives, and will work closely with the Data & Analytics team to manage budgets, track performance, and optimize ROI. Until the department is further scaled, this role will also directly manage day-to-day engagement with followers and partners.
Key Responsibilities- Global Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership
- Develop and execute a global marketing strategy aligned with Hamsons growth objectives across the US, UK, and UAE
- Ensure all marketing initiatives maintain a consistent premium brand identity, while being localized for each market
- Own brand positioning, messaging, tone of voice, and visual standards across all platforms
Market-Specific Content & Campaign Development- Create and oversee region-specific content strategies tailored to cultural, linguistic, and consumer preferences in: United States, United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates
- Ensure content resonates authentically with local audiences while reinforcing global brand equity
- Manage the end-to-end execution of campaigns across:
- Social media platforms
- Influencer and ambassador partnerships
- Retail and trade marketing environments
Retail & Store-Level Marketing- Design and execute store-to-store and regional retail campaigns in select markets
- Work with distributors, retailers, and sales teams to implement:
- In-store activations
- Sampling programs
- Point-of-sale (POS) materials
- Promotional and seasonal campaigns
- Align retail marketing initiatives with broader digital and brand campaigns
Digital, Social & Community Management- Lead all social media strategy, planning, and execution across global platforms
- Oversee content calendars, campaign launches, and community engagement
- Manage direct interactions with followers, partners, and collaborators until the team expands
- Ensure timely, brand-appropriate responses and active community building
Data-Driven Marketing & Budget Management- Work closely with the Data Analyst and Finance teams to:
- Develop and manage marketing budgets
- Track campaign performance and ROI
- Monitor CAC, ROAS, engagement, and conversion metrics
- Establish and report on KPIs and performance dashboards
- Use insights and analytics to continuously refine marketing strategy and spend allocation
Team & Cross-Functional Leadership- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership
- Support the gradual build-out of the marketing department, including future hiring and agency management
- Manage external partners, agencies, creatives, and freelancers as required
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)- Brand growth and awareness across key markets
- Social media engagement and follower growth
- Campaign ROI and budget efficiency
- Retail activation performance and sell-through impact
- Consistency and effectiveness of global brand messaging
Candidate Profile & Requirements- 5-7+ years of senior marketing experience, preferably within FMCG / Food & Beverage / Consumer Staples
- Proven experience managing multi-market or international marketing operations
- Strong understanding of US, UK, and Middle East consumer markets
- Experience executing both digital and retail-level marketing campaigns
- Highly analytical with experience working alongside data and finance teams
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to both strategize and execute
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Experience in premium or heritage food brands is a strong advantage
