Omega Talent is supporting a prominent Riyadh-based holding company with the appointment of an experienced Head of Marketing. This is a senior leadership position responsible for developing and executing the group-wide marketing strategy across a diversified portfolio of businesses.
About the Role
The successful candidate will lead the corporate marketing function, strengthen the group's market positioning and ensure a consistent, high-quality brand presence across all subsidiaries and external channels. Working closely with the executive leadership team and the heads of the portfolio companies, the Head of Marketing will establish a clear marketing framework for the group while supporting the individual commercial objectives of each business.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the group-wide marketing, brand and communications strategy in line with the organisation's long-term growth objectives
- Strengthen the holding company's corporate brand, market positioning and overall reputation
- Establish clear brand architecture and governance across the group and its portfolio companies
- Ensure consistency in brand identity, messaging, tone of voice and visual standards across all business units
- Partner with senior leadership to translate corporate priorities into effective marketing and communications programmes
- Provide strategic guidance to subsidiary companies while allowing each business to respond effectively to its individual market
- Lead annual marketing planning, budgeting and performance measurement across the group
- Oversee corporate communications, public relations, media engagement and executive profiling
- Manage the development of corporate content including company profiles, presentations, websites, announcements, thought-leadership material and digital campaigns
- Develop integrated campaigns across digital, social media, events, partnerships, traditional media and other relevant channels
- Strengthen the group's digital presence and ensure digital platforms effectively communicate its capabilities, portfolio and investment activities
- Support the marketing and positioning of new ventures, investments, partnerships and business launches
- Work closely with commercial and business development teams to identify market opportunities and develop campaigns that support revenue growth
- Oversee market research, competitor analysis, customer insight and sector intelligence to inform strategic decisions
- Build strong relationships with media organisations, government stakeholders, external partners and relevant industry bodies
- Lead the planning and delivery of corporate events, conferences, sponsorships and high-profile stakeholder engagements
- Select and manage external agencies, consultants, production partners and other marketing suppliers
- Establish clear KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure brand awareness, campaign effectiveness, digital performance and return on marketing investment
- Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing internal marketing and communications team
- Introduce appropriate systems, processes and governance to improve quality, efficiency and accountability across the function
- Ensure all marketing activity is culturally appropriate and aligned with the standards and expectations of the Saudi Arabian market
Qualifications
- Approximately 15 or more years of progressive experience across marketing, brand management, corporate communications or a related discipline
- A strong track record in a senior marketing leadership position such as Head of Marketing, Marketing Director or Chief Marketing Officer
- Previous experience working within a holding company, diversified group, investment organisation or multi-business environment is strongly preferred
- Demonstrable experience developing and implementing marketing strategies across multiple companies, brands or business divisions
- Strong understanding of corporate brand strategy, brand architecture and governance
- Proven experience managing corporate communications, public relations, digital marketing and stakeholder engagement
- Experience partnering directly with C-suite executives, business leaders and board-level stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to connect marketing strategy to business growth, market positioning and financial objectives
- Experience leading teams, managing significant budgets and overseeing external agencies
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian or wider GCC business environment is highly advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline
- A relevant postgraduate qualification or MBA would be advantageous
- Fluency in English is essential, with Arabic language capability considered a significant advantage
Required Skills
The successful candidate will be a commercially minded and highly credible marketing leader who can operate at both strategic and operational levels. They will be comfortable defining the overall direction of the function while remaining closely involved in execution, particularly during the initial development and transformation of the marketing department.
Preferred Skills
This individual must be capable of navigating a multi-company environment, balancing the priorities of the holding company with the needs of its individual portfolio businesses. Strong leadership, stakeholder management and organisational skills will be essential.
Pay range and compensation package
The position is based full-time in Riyadh and candidates must already be based in Saudi Arabia or be willing to relocate.
