Global Head of Middle Office Global Markets

Trevose Partners are working with a global financial markets platform to appoint a Global Head of Middle Office as part of a broader build-out of their trading infrastructure. This is a newly created leadership role with a mandate to design, scale and optimise a best-in-class middle office function supporting a rapidly expanding global business.

This opportunity sits at the centre of the organisation, partnering closely with front office leadership and supporting c.150 sales and trading professionals across multiple asset classes.

The Role:

As Global Head of Middle Office, you will take ownership of an existing team of 12 and lead the expansion to c.25 globally. The remit spans both operational control and strategic build-out, with responsibility for creating a scalable, high-performing middle office aligned to the firm's growth ambitions.

You will oversee core functions including T0 operations and Cash & Liquidity Management, while building out additional capabilities across dealer support, reporting, onboarding and client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the global build-out of the middle office function across multiple locations

Manage and develop existing T0 and cash & liquidity teams

Scale the function to include dealer assistants, reporting, onboarding/KYC, client experience and Flash PnL

Partner with front office leadership to support trading activity across all asset classes

Implement robust controls, processes and operating models to support growth

Drive efficiency and automation across the middle office lifecycle

Act as a key interface between trading, risk, operations and client-facing teams

Candidate Profile

Proven leadership experience within a global markets middle office environment

Strong understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes

Experience building or transforming middle office functions at scale

Deep knowledge of T0 processes, liquidity management and PnL reporting

Ability to operate in a high-growth, fast-paced trading environment

Strong stakeholder management skills across front office, risk and operations

Location

This role is based in Abu Dhabi and requires relocation if not already locally based.
