Job Description

The Head of People at our small but rapidly growing healthcare company will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the entire human resources function. This role will drive cultural development, talent management, and organizational effectiveness to ensure we attract and retain top talent in our mission to provide exceptional healthcare services.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract qualified candidates with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion.
  • Oversee employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Manage performance management processes, including employee evaluations and feedback loops.
  • Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and healthcare regulations concerning workforce management.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team regarding HR best practices and employee relations issues.
  • Develop compensation and benefits plans that are competitive within the healthcare industry.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred ( MBA ).
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, ideally in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and healthcare regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with employee engagement and performance management systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment and manage multiple priorities.
