Job Description

We are currently recruiting for our client, a Riyadh-based large F&B operator, for a Procurement & Planning Manager to head their procurement and supply chain departments in KSA.

Position Summary:

The Procurement and Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory control, and vendor management. The role ensures efficient processes, cost-effective operations, and timely availability of materials to support business needs. Warehouse background is ideal from a material requirement and planning background.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms with vendors.

2. Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and shortages.

3. Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead demand forecasting and supply planning based on sales trends.
  • Align supply chain activities with business goals and production schedules.
  • Identify risks in the supply chain and implement contingency plans.

4. Process Improvement

  • Analyze supply chain operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices, automation tools, and performance metrics.
  • Enhance operational efficiency while reducing costs.

5. Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead, train, and develop supply chain team members.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Operations, Finance, and Sales.
  • Provide regular reports on supply chain performance and KPIs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 710 years relevant experience in supply chain roles.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain software.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
