Role Overview:

We're looking for an exceptional Head of Product Design to transform our user experience and establish design excellence as a core competency. You'll inherit platforms that need comprehensive redesign while building and mentoring a design team. This requires someone who can both lead strategically and execute tactically - establishing design systems while also shipping critical improvements yourself.

The role demands someone comfortable with ambiguity, tight timelines, and the need to make confident decisions with imperfect information. You'll need to maintain speed without ever sacrificing the end user experience.

Key Responibilities:

• Redesign core user journeys including trading flows, onboarding, and market discovery
• Establish design systems, component libraries, and quality standards
• Build and develop a design team, elevating their skills through mentorship and training
• Simplify complex financial products for mass market users
• Partner with product and engineering to ship improvements rapidly
• Help lead a shift in culture a customer centric organization

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience designing consumer fintech, trading, or crypto products
• Strong portfolio demonstrating work shipped under timeline constraints
• Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on with execution
• Deep understanding of trading platforms and financial product UX
• Confidence to advocate for design decisions with cross-functional partners
• Pragmatic judgment about where to invest design effort for maximum impact
• Experience establishing design practices in organizations building this capability
